2. How does trim knives work? 
Trim knives is used as a pair, they are upper trim knife and lower trim knife,  likely bottom slotting knives, trim knives is also know as " 2 half knife"
They are cutting cardboard at the side,  so it is also called "side trim knives"




3. Difference with bottom slotting knives
Bottom slotting knives are working as serration purpose on cardboard, trim knives are working as slitting purpose on cardboard.  It is a "slitter blade". 


4. Splitting & Etching
Trim knives are designed as split into 2 half rings, for easier installation on flexo print machines.
